Warning: This post contains spoilers for the finale of Cursed Season One. In its tenth and final episode, Cursed ends on a cliffhanger—literally. Netflix’s high fantasy epic about Nimue, the Lady of the Lake from Arthurian legend, sees its heroine put her life on the line for the endangered fey people, who have named her their queen. Yet with enemies circling on all sides, the battle for the future of the fey soon devolves from a carefully negotiated treaty to an epic battlefield showdown.

Oh, baby, look at us now! Four weeks, ten episodes, a box of tissues, and way too many hours of drama later, and we’ve finally reached the end of Daisy Jones & The Six. As anticipated, the tension within the band came to a head in the explosive two part finale. The last two episodes, which are available to stream now, dished out one bombshell after another as the band we’ve grown to love came crumbling down.

No one has stumbled so clunkily through 90 minutes of flimsy narrative since I told my dad I wanted to be a construction worker when I was six, put on his work boots, stomped around the house, and eventually fell down and busted my lip open. But that's exactly what Dangerous Lies does because, y'all, the most dangerous lie that this Netflix film tells is that it's going to be a coherent thriller.

Who Is Lady Deadpool?! It's driving me wild. The female version of our "Merc with a Mouth" is shown walking toward Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the latest trailer for their upcoming Marvel romp, Deadpool & Wolverine, and fans are absolutely losing it. Is it Blake Lively? Sabrina Carpenter? Reynolds in a wig and heels? TAYLOR SWIFT?! I've gotta say: after the culmination of She-Hulk, where CGI blurs of green pixels were twerking and smashing and screaming bloody murder left and right, I really needed some fun from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

At some point, it always felt inevitable that Nic Cage would make a spiritual follow-up to 2002's Adaptation: the trippy, Charlie Kaufman-written epic that saw the actor go from contemplating muffin consumption to adventuring through the annals of Florida. Last year, we sort of had that film—The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, where Nic Cage played Nic Cage, but it wasn't quite batshit enough to stand alongside Adaptation.
