Now, some of you might say: This couch looks basic. I want something normal and mid-century modern. I (enlightened) would buy this affordable sofa because it looks like it came straight out of my favorite home on Earth, Ricardo Bofill’s La Fabrica. The square shape, the giant toss pillows—brother if I had a this couch and access to some books, they could keep me here for weeks on end.
The other great thing about this couch is that the slipcover is machine washable. Instead of having to take it off, then get it dry cleaned or whatever, you can just run it through the wash. It's way less fussy than a typical couch, and for that reason it's a winner.
Also, some people might freak out over a $2,000 price tag, but let me tell you this: For fabrics this good, that's about the best price you'll find. There's some decent cheap linen sofas on Amazon, but this sofa will last you twice as long.
