1Baby Yoda

Grogu spent some of his time off between seasons as a float for the 2022 Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in New York. The amazing puppetry and visual effects behind this character have made the force-sensitive Grogu/The Chid/Baby Yoda something everyone knows, even if you haven't seen an episode of the show.
Grogu is operated by a staff of puppeteers, and some of his voice sounds are made by the show's sound editor, David Acord, who then heavily modified them.

2Pedro Pascal

Pascal is having a huge moment as Djin Djarin, the eponymous bounty hunter who is also caring for Grogu. He is also kicking zombie butt on HBO as Joel in The Last of Us, and made a well-received supporting performance in the 2022 action-comedy The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.

Greef Karga is both an ally and rival to Pascal's Mando, when the bounty hunter suddenly refuses to return Grogu to the Imperials per his client's instructions. Weathers was nominated for the Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in 2021.

Cindy Ord//Getty ImagesThe incredible comedian joined the Star Wars universe when she began playing Peli Motto, a mechanic in Tatooine who helps out Mando and Grogu and provides some great comic relief along the way. Sedaris also made an appearance in The Book of Boba Fett as Peli, and is all over TV as an actress in sitcoms and animated series like Bojack Horseman and F is for Family.

Fans can rejoice, since Sackhoff is confirmed to be back for Season Three. She is best known as a main cast member of Battlestar: Galactica, but also originated Bo-Katan Kryze as a voice actor in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels.

Her first appearance in The Mandalorian was only one episode, but is still a high point among fans and critics.
