After a very dangerous season of Yellowstone, the Paramount summer hit ended on Wednesday night with machine guns, toilet deaths, and at least six dead bodies. Thankfully, Season Two of Yellowstone managed to improve on some of its more glaring problems in Season One—most notably with Monica and the Broken Rock characters.
There's a lot that could be covered in the last episode of this season (Are John's flashbacks with his father telling us something more? Is Rip going to actually run the ranch?), but we're going to hone in on some of the biggest moments of a very busy, very Yellowstone finale.

Dan Jenkins is Dead? Again? Maybe?
You hang a man from a tree, and you have to assume he's going to be dead, but then again, we live in the world of Yellowstone. Somehow after a dirty Season One, Dan managed to survive a hanging. But it appears that in the Season Two finale, things aren't looking so hot for our noose escape artist. Even with security outside of his house, Dan couldn't be saved from the Beck brothers' sharp shooting. Even though Dan was a bit of an asshole in Season One, you hate to see him go down like this. In his final moments, he says, "I have a right to be here. I have a right. This is America." RIP, brother.
Kayce Killed a Man Sitting on the Toilet
I mean, where do you start with this? Kayce made a promise to Monica that he would kill the men responsible for kidnapping Tate, but damn if Kayce wasn't fully savage by offing this Beck brother while he's taking a moment for himself on the toilet. After breaking into the house, Kayce found Teal Beck on the porcelain throne and shot him in the stomach. After threatening him for more information, Kayce discovered Tate's whereabouts. That wasn't enough though, so Kayce shot him in the leg, one more time in the chest, and then staged it to look like it was a shoot out. Classic Dutton Family Values.
Yellowstone Ended With a White Supremacist Bloodbath?
We knew the Beck Brothers were bad, but this episode we learn the extent of their moral corruption and their connections to white supremacists. Though the Dutton Family is often pretty problematic in their own way, they're somewhat redeemed for the fact that they killed the hell out of a bunch of white supremacists with machine guns. After nixing Malcom, John discovered Tate's real location, and the Dutton gang took no prisoners.
The people of the Broken Rock Indian Reservation and the Dutton family came together for a full Quentin Tarantino-style shootout that took out a shit ton of neo-Nazis connected to the Becks. Sure, we knew these guys were bad, but with all the racist propaganda in that house, it became clear that these people were completely evil. These are rebel-flag-toting-brainwash-video-using nutcases.
The third season of Yellowstone has already been picked up, but with the fate of the ranch in question, who knows where they'll turn next. Tate has been rescued by Kayce, but he's clearly facing some personal issues because that's what happens when you're brainwashed by white supremacist propaganda.
If that finale wasn't enough of a trip for you, here's a glimpse at Season Three. Among the new actors joining the cast is Lost's Josh Halloway, so the fate of the ranch may not be so lost after all. Take it from John—these people don't give up until their last dying breath.
